Training and Education

Dr. Petrosky brings 35+ years of plastic and reconstructive surgery experience to Plastic Surgery Center of the South. He obtained both his Bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After completing his general surgery residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, Dr. Petrosky pursued additional training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and became certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

More Than a Surgeon

When he’s not in the operating room, you’ll find Dr. Petrosky at the theater or the beach with his wife and four daughters. He enjoys staying active through jogging, exercising, or playing tennis, and during his downtime, he works in the garden cultivating his green thumb.
