Facelift Case 83

This 59 year old Atlanta face lift patient came to our cosmetic surgery office concerned about an aging look on her face, excess skin on her upper and lower eyelids, and excess skin on her arms. She had recently lost over 150 pounds and felt that excess skin on her face and body was detracting from her weight loss results.

Due to her weight loss she experienced substantial aging on her face and neck including ptosis (sagging skin), increased jowl formation and lack of visibility of the jaw line. During her consultation, her surgeon carefully reviewed her facial features and recommended several facial sculpting procedures, including a full face lift, blepharoplasty and neck lift.  She also required an arm lift to tighten the large amount of loose skin on her upper arms after weight loss.

Her facial and body contouring surgery was a success. In particular, her neck looks much tighter and more youthful, and her tailored upper arms give her a much slimmer upper body appearance. As you can see, the bags below her eyes have been reduced and the upper eyelid "hooding effect has been replaced with a cleaner-looking upper eye contour. She now looks very good for her age and is very happy with her Atlanta face lift, eyelid surgery, and arm sculpting results.
