Liposuction Case 164

35 year old woman has a history of  breast augmention 12 years ago using 320 cc saline implants. She weighs 145 pounds and is 5'9. Although she is pleased with her implants, she would like to exhange them for larger implants and silicone gels. She also is concerned with her sagging breasts. In addition, she mentioned the fullness in her abdomen bothers her and she would like to improve that as well.

Upon examination, it was decided that due to her broad chest, a 375 or 400 cc implant would accomplish what she desired. To get the best result for her sagging breast, a breast lift would be recommended. With the fullness in her abdomen, there was also some protrusion through her central abdomen. Because of this, the best option is to perform an intermediate tummy tuk (abdominoplasty) and liposuction to her hips.

The surgery went as planned and both her  breasts and adominal area showed excellent results. This patient returned in the office a few months later to have a more aggressive liposuction to her abdominal area and eliminate all excess fat that was not able to be removed during the tummy tuck.
