Abdominoplasty/Tummy Tuck Case 175

51 year old female underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2007 and lost nearly 160 pounds. She was concerned with the excess skin of her abdomen and had a large apron of skin which caused a lot of skin problems to the effected area. She is 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Due to the significant amount of weight loss, it was recommended that she should have an extended abdominoplasty, thus including both a horizontal and vertical incision to remove as much excess skin as possible.

In agreement with the physician, the patient understood that this was her best option. The patient is absolutely estatic with her results.
