Abdominoplasty, Liposuction Before & After Photos

This 34 year old woman came to our practice unhappy with the extra skin and fat in her abdominal region after having 2 children. She wanted to get back to the more tight and toned shape she enjoyed before her pregnancies. As you can see, she had a significant amount of excess tissue both above and below her belly button when she came in for her Atlanta abdominoplasty consultation.
During the consultation, her plastic surgeon recommended a tummy tuck combined with liposuction to remove excess fat tissue. Because her stomach muscles were significantly stretched, she required a full tummy tuck, rather than the "mini" version of the procedure that is sometimes performed when less extensive body contouring is needed. She also needed liposuction on the back side of her waist and hip area to create a fully re-contoured mid-body appearance.
Her surgery went smoothly and she did not experience any significant complications. As you can see in the "after" photo, her stomach area is dramatically flatter and more toned. Through liposuction in Atlanta, she also has a more flattering shape to her hip and thigh area, with a smoother, more feminine contour. She is extremely happy with her results and is pleased that her surgical scars are well concealed in underwear or even a bikini bathing suit.
